Motivation
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is one of the prime contenders of software implementation for large industries, both in public and private sectors. Many legacy-oriented and mainframe-based systems in state governments, automobile industries, and insurance agencies are seeking migration of their processes and operations to ERP for better results, efficiency and synchronization. The importance of a proper porting of data and information to new ERP based systems such as PeopleSoft or SAP is therefore paramount in recent IT and software industry practices.
