Preliminary assignments:

ADVANCE TEAMS
        are sending email to area principals and following up with
phone calls and personal visits to recruit school participants.

The letter was sent to the listserv today, but a more recent
version (I found a couple of typos), is online at

Each of the advance teams should adapt this document to their use.
Also note, this is written like a letter and refers to an enclosed flyer.
If advance teams are writing email to the principals, this reference to
flyers should be REMOVED.

SOFTWARE TESTING TEAM
        are compiling the message board bugs into a coherent list (and
need access to the message board password so they can clean things up)

TEACHER SURVEY TEAM
        is responsible for design and administration of a teacher survey
and also the design of in-person interviews. Examples of surveys, for
reference, are online at

LESSON PLAN TEAM
        is advised to review the tech report online with lessons
for other virtual environments

TOWN POPULATION TEAM
        is designing two new populations, and needs to know how to
integrate new shoppers to implement the new demand

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT TEAM
        meets with me on Wednesdays, at 11 AM, in IACC #258-A5

PRODUCT TEAM
        is reviewing the game to compile a list of graphics that
need replacing, needs a Photoshop demonstration set up for them,
and access to the collectible data

SHOPPER IMAGE TEAM
        needs to compile a list of the shopper types and organize the
search for suitable images.

TECH SUPPORT TEAM
        needs to research the issues involved with installing an
RMI server, calling shell scripts on OSX, installing a MySQL
server, and other technical stuff related to dissemination.

MINOR ITEMS:
        Changed the spelling on Nweemuu
        Swapped Randy HIggins and Ryan Bryn
        Appointed Eric Muckenhirn as Project Scribe and Record
