Subject: Re: Dollar Bay Demonstration From: "Craig Erickson" Date: Fri, March 26, 2004 9:22 am To: Jason: Thanks for the update. You've begun to experience the "wonderful world of red tape" that can only be experienced in the public sector. With time being an issue, I was hoping we might have been able to at least check out your product without going through the entire "song and dance". Having come to education from the private sector, I am completely amazed, baffled, and--quite honestly--nauseated at the time, energy and resources that are expended in order to implement even the most minor change. I just don't get it. In all honesty, I am not holding out much hope that this "review process" will even be completed before the year ends...which is a shame. Please know that I would completely understand if you were to decide not to "jump through the hoops" with our district. I certainly wouldn't blame you. Let me know what you decide; and thanks for keeping me informed along the way.
