Profiling Statistics: vein/19971030

Squid caching proxy of the University of Veszprem in Hungary is a part of the Hungarian academic network caching hierarchy. Vein proxy uses iif top level Hungarian proxy as a parent for all requests. The link bandwidth between iif and vein is about 512 Kbps. The patched version of Squid was run on Thursday, October 30, 1997. We also have statistics for other days.

Warning: This proxy was running Squid with the "double-read(2)" bug that may affect performance of a proxy.

We split our experiments into 6 categories.

  1. General

  2. Disk

  3. Memory

  4. Outbound Network

  5. Inbound Network

  6. Hits

There is also a [large] page that puts all experiments together.
