Squid caching proxy of the University of Tromsø in Norway is a part of the DESIRE project. Tromsø's parent is the UNINETT proxy. The patched version of Squid (v1.1.16 with the "double-read(2)" bug fixed) was run for several days. This page is based on logs generated on Monday, October 13, 1997.

Warning: This server has relatively small number of clients. When studying small groups of requests (e.g. large hits) there may be not enough samples to get reliable statistics.

Note that University of Tromsø is the world's northernmost university. This did not affect the performance of Squid as far as we can tell. :)
