Welcome to
Shortbus Laboratories
Bringing TFC players to school since 2001

Does anyone actually play TFC anymore? I have too many shiny distractions to keep track of. These maps are intended for LAN or network play. Do not load them in single player mode as any single player shortbus map has a solid track record of crashing horribly. Otherwise, have fun. - poopfoot, Jul 2005

Shortbus1a.zip
The first in the Shortbus series, version 1a.  Capture The Flag style map.
The 'bus is silent, as it is in all versions, due to the func_tracktrain bug.  This map actually has a story behind it.

   Shortbus2.zip

Shortbus version 2.  Based loosely off the QWTF map Havoc, each base has a set of computers which must be destroyed, leading up to a central computer in each base.  Frags are awarded for each computer destroyed, with 10 points going to one's own team for each time the central computer is destroyed.  As always, the 'bus is here and ready to frag.  714Kb download.   readme

Shortbus25a.zip
Shortbus 2.5a, an expansion to the original Shortbus2.  New underground tunnels lead into each base and are accessible throughout the map, changing the balance of play.  Grenade packs have been added to each base that anyone can use. The 'bus is all lit up and ready to roll.

  Poopshoot.zip
Based off Knightsnipe_1c, a map by Knighthawk, code available at http://girlpower.dhs.org .  Sniper-only map, snipers from either team can sneak into each other's bases and play dirty.  However, each base is peppered with sentries in dark corners..

Shortbus3 Shortbus3.zip The Shortbus is back!  Shortbus3 incorporates a novel style of TFC gameplay - players must navigate the 'bus through four checkpoints to score for their team!  Frags are awarded for each checkpoint passed, and 10 points is given out to a team when it successfully passes all four checkpoints.
