Campus Web Efforts
Led a two year campus wide effort to enable and support faculty use of
Web based materials in classes.
This effort has resulted in significant resources permanently
committed for the faculty.
Dr. Juell's efforts continue now with NSF funding
as part of a multi-department effort developing VRML and Java based
content for instruction.
Long Term Campus Service
In addition to work on numerous university and college committees,
I have spent more than a decade as
student ACM advisor.
The Student ACM chapter is very active and supports high profile
services to campus including consulting in the clusters and
the campus wide student Web server.
I have been long term active member of
the University Computer Plans and Goals (CPG)
committee.
CPG is a university senate committee that interacts
with Information Technology Services (ITS) to help in the campus technology directions.
I have have had a long term effort in distance education and technology
in the classroom. This has included offering seminars and classes
by computer based video conferencing.
