Database Requirements

Process

1. Create the biosql schema
2. Upload the NCBI taxonomy data
3. Upload the sequence data
4. BLAST the sequence data
5. Create the tables for storing distances (050distancecreate.pl)
6. Upload the BLAST data into the distance tables

Remarks

It is important that both the distanceparameter and the distanceparametertaxon tables are populated properly in step 6.
